LI : To learn how to read.
On Monday 3 people from Duffy came to do a play for our school. The play was that one of the actors was stuck in a video game. They had to spell words and a Maori word to get out of the game. There were 6 characters play by 3 people they were the dismantler, the puzzler,Aunty,Sam,Duffy and bairn. They ask for help from the audience to get out and to help solve the word problems. And they would tell us when to be quiet. It starts with Duffy playing magic bricks then goes to his cousins house when Duffy got there Sam was playing magic bricks. Duffy messes around with the grandmas glasses and fell into the game.
Sam mocks Duffy and puts on the grandmas glasses making her go into the game. Thats when they find letters on the blocks and spell words. Well Sam was mocking Duffy she brought a book about this game. They had to use a special dance to get out of the game and they do with our help. My favourite part of the play was when Sam mocked Duffy for getting in the game then put on the glasses and then fell into the game.
