LI: To explain and teach how to divide fractions.
This week we learnt to divide fractions, we did 5ths,halves,10ths,3rds and 4ths. We then learnt how to divide sets of fractions using different numbers.

Fractions

LI: to differentiate between terms like “halves” and “one half”

We got in groups to find the differences for halves and one half. For halves that means then one, and one half is a single half. We also wrote what we think a fraction is, a fraction is half a equal of an object. The maths this week was mostly about fractions, we even made a physical example of a fraction using paper.

LI: to earn and look after money by creating with maths.
We learnt how to add and subtract fractions. And what the least common multiple one example would be whats the least common multiple of 5 & 6 the answer would be 30 because 5 x 6 = 30 and 6 x 5 = 30 there both the same number so it's the least common.

This week me and Vayan started the how to subtract and add fractions. This is a WIP which mean's work in progress so some questions are wrong and lead to the wrong places like if you click the right question it might be wrong.

LI: to relate fractions with division.
LI: to identify and count fractions.
This week for maths we learnt about division. Not only that but unit fractions but more. We difend words so we can use them for our slide. This task was a group task so it would be easyer. We had questions that we had to answer as well. We learnt about the parts of a fraction and talk about how division is a maths operation.

Fraction problems

LI :To share fraction problems with others
On Monday we did maths.We had to fine and make problems with fractions.So the frist thing we did was make a group.We had to get counters and make answers using the counters.It was good to make us have knowlege about fractions.When that was that done we had to make a slideshow.We picked fractions I was quaters or 4ths.I had to make a questions and what I used was games.I made so there are 10 games.2/4 are them are broken how many of them are not broken? It was fun as we can make our questions for people to answer.The people who I made the slideshow with was viliami and andrew.Viliami did 3rds well andrew did 5ths.

Fractions

LI- To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.
Today we did fractions,We had to make a copy of two google drawings.We had to fine out the percentages, of the fractions and the decimal numbers, for the fraction.Like this 1/2 will be 50% because it is a half.We could to slove it by using our times, table and we had to use materials.Such as blocks/cubes sticks,pie shapes and so on.The cubes and the sticks, were easy to do and use,The task had to be done by ourselfs.Also the task was kinda easy and a bit hard,The decimals were one of the most eazyst for me to slove.Also if your were stuck on the task you can get help form the teacher to help slove it.For all of the materials were sticks and for the last part I used counters.To show two wholes.
