Maori/English Names of the Planets

The task for inquiry this week was to make a google slideshow with information and the English/Maori names of the planets in our solar system. We then had to make a video on how to pronounce the Maori and English names for the planets in our solar system. In the video we had to add in some quick facts as well. Space tuarangi/ prior knowledge.

This week for our first session of inquiry with Ms. Anderson, we were using our prior knowledge about spce. Prior knowledge is when you use your information you already know about. In groups of LS1 and LS2 we wrote our prior knowledge about space. I was with Farzana and Xavier. After we recorded our prior knowledge, we watched a video about space. The video helped us build on our prior knowledge.
