Speech/poem finals

This week was the speech finals, We had a special person from Tamaki college who would be making the speeches and the poems. In the hall there was speech/poem finals. They consisted of year 1's to year 8's. The year 1's - 3's had poems written. And year 4+ was persuasive speeches. My & someone elses  favourite poem was by Kendric. Because he talked about space which is a topic I like, he also talked in a paste so we can understand what he was saying. And he also spoke in a loud voice. And he was confident for a junior presenting in front of the school.

Next was the speech which we liked was jack's. His topic was about plagiarism, We like it because it talked about the dangers of a topic people might not know the consequences of plagiarism. He also used actions and information to back up his topic and he also spoke in a loud voice. And had a nice introduction to his topic and ending.

L.I. - Present a formal speech.
This week we presented our speech's. We had different topics with different scores. One thing I think I did right was presenting the ideas in order, but I do need to work on with my introduction as it was plain and I wasn't that really enthusiastic in the introduction. And my element was telling practical ways of solving the pollution problem and how I can solve it so they can join my speech.
