LI : To learn about respect, and how we should respect other people.
We had to learn how we can cope with people with differences and also make them feel good, and help them. Such as being disabled, for an example let's say someone is unable to walk, we would help them by pushing their wheelchair if needed because a path might be steep. We talked about how we could help/please someone that has different taste in food, like unable to eat meat due to them being vegan.

LI : To respect others for their differences
Kiwi can this week was about how everyone has their own differences, and how we should respect them for that. For an example some people might not want christmas to be a holiday or to be celebrated. One way to respect someone with different customs as you, is to hold your tongue basically think before you say what you are going say to them.
We then played a game, we had to be in a duo and number ourselfs 1 or 2. 1 would have a look at person 2 to see what they looked like, they then turned around and number 2 would try and change something about them. The other person ad to try and spot the difference. The roles would then be swapped no matter if the spotter found the difference or not.

LI : To learn how to be a kind and respectful person
This week was about respecting ourselves and other people and how we do it. we recapped on what we had learnt last week. Our first energizer was called follow the leader, the leader (who was picked randomly) would have to make their group do a task such as make a group clap twice in sync.
We had around thirty seconds to practice before showing the whole class what progress we had made the expectation of the leader was to be able to take control and remember the tasks that had to be done.
Next was talking in partners about our strength and weakness, like what we think we are good at and what we think we need to improve on. Later on we played human knot in our same groups the challenge was tryin to get out of the human knot and be untangled.

For kiwi can we split up in 2 groups this will be important later. We first re-capped on our topic last week. And talked about respecting ourselves, and the catch phrase. The first activity we did was called versus so the kiwi can leaders would say which is better baked beans or spaghetti and the class had to choose what they think and provide a reason.
When that was over we the class spilt we were now playing wisdom vs might we were on might and we had to do physical challenges such as getting with a partner and trying get up without using our hands well ours is warped around, the next is getting in a circle warping our hands around each other and as a group get up the ground without using our hands. The last thew would be making a human pyramid without falling.

LI : To learn how to respect ourselves and other things/people
We had a new kiwi can monitor his name was si manou the theme for this term was respect. One of the games we play revolves around listening to instructions, like how apple means jump forward, orange means jump backwards and banana means spin 180 degrees. We played a couple rounds, then we moved on how to respect each other and objects and life.
Some of the ways we could respect yourself is by doing basic hygiene such as showering, brushing our teeth and looking after our hair. The last game we played was one lie and one truth, in this game one person said one lie about themself and then one truth about themself. And the class had to decide what was the truth as that was the goal in total five people had a turn.
We then did a recap on how to respect each other etc before we left the theatre.

LI : To deal with challenges
we need to practise dealing with challenges, to deal with challenges easily in the future. Our theme is resilience, and our topic was dealing with challenges. We did a bus stop activity we had to explain what the challenges are, we had a group discussion to decide what the person in a picture was feeling in that situation. There are many types of challenges such as physical challenges, mental challenges and emotion challenge.

LI : To learn how to over come challenges.
for kiwi can we are talked about challenges and how we can get overcome them. Before we did this we talked about our topic from last week which was self control. Now the new topic is dealing with challenges And our theme for this term is still the same which is resilience, we played an activity which was called challenge circle.
We got in an circle and the kiwi can leaders would say to jump in or out and other commands well trying to trick us to get out of the game.
We then all talked about challenges and how we can overcome them like practising heaps of times. We also talked about the challenges we face in our school right now. For the last activity we are doing how to solve a puzzle and then we talked about whats hard about the task.
At the top there is the puzzle we had to solve as a challenge you try solve it!

To learn about distraction we played a gamer called Distraction Circle. Distraction Circle is were someone is in the circle well another person is writing on there back a number (the person in the middle needs to find out the number) Well two people on left and right try to distract the person with story's well someone is trying to do actions, and the person in the middle is trying to copy.

Next we talked about how our emotions could effect the people around us. And why we should tell others how we feel and how ou emotions can effect us.
And lastly for the activty we got into a group and were given a card that had a role play scene for us. We all had to act out an emotion to fit with the scene and whats happening.
