LI To Create an advert using the knowledge and skills we have learnt.

This week for writing was about making a hook to draw attention to our narrative. A hook is like a paragraph or a few sentences describing the story without using part of the story.

Character/settings

LI : To identify the parts of a Narrative
Last week we were planning a narrative. We were all have the same ideas from planning. We would first create one male character and one female character. They would all have different stuff about them. We also are using the same settings for our narrative.

Figurative Language

LI : To investigate Figurative Language
 This time for writing our task was about figurative language. One example of this would be finding an example or meaning, parts of figurative language would be similes,metaphor,personification
,hyperbole,understatement. We would see the definition of each word and find examples. There was also an quiz that explained more metaphorshores and more.

Writing | Editing

LI: To revise the structure and reaffirm the marking criteria.
For writing we had to make another imaginative recount. About winning something, like ow all of our second recounts was about winning a competition, and writing about how we feel. For the editing we had to highlight what we would change in our writing my recount was about winning the handball competition.  

Writing

LI : To revise the structure of a Imaginative recount and reaffirm the marking criteria.

TREE is what we used to write our Imaginative recount in. TREE stands for title,reveal,events,ending. The reveal had to have a who,when,where. We made a Imaginative recount pretending that we had just won the lottery and won one million dollars. In the whole recount by the time we finished the recount all of the money has to be gone. The ending would have to say what we thought about the day.

After we wrote the imaginative recount we got with a partner to mark our work, we would swap chrome books and read each other's work. The person who made a recount would give themselves a mark and the person who checking the work would either agree or disagree.
