The witches | Follow ups

LI : to finish all our activities.

This week was our last week to finish all our activities about the witches. If we did not have all the tasks done, we would try to finish them off.

This was the last week we had our novels. We had to finish our novels before we do anything else. After that our next task was to do all our tasks/finish tasks about our novel study like DLOs unfinished. 

News paper | Reading

LI - Build knowledge of vocabulary, and links words create to the wider world.

this week we had to do another task for reading relating to the book we are reading. The task I did this week was to write a news paper about a event from the book. I chose that the event for the news paper should be near the book when the grand high witch has been found out.  

Novel Study

LI : Novel Study The witches.
The reading task that I have done is about a novel study on the witches. What I have done is a character web on a character of my choosing. I picked the the grand high witch as the book has already described most of the witch. We had to write what seemed like a biography of her, like about her personality and more.

Reading | Novel study

LI : To learn more about the novel we read
We were doing novel studies. But before we started to read we would get in groups of five and make bookmarks so we can put it on the page we left off. The bookmark had to include what we think makes a good reader. The novel i'm reading this week is the witches by roald dahl. Each person in our reading groups would have their own book to choose from. The teacher would give us a reading goal like how far into the book we had to read. Next week there will be activities for us to do thats has to do with the novel.
