This is a WIP (work in progress) Im doing art, I am finished with the measurements so all I need to do now is to draw. I am still trying to figure out what to draw for maths.

LI : To learn new skills for swimming

We started with a streamline. A streamline is when you put your arms up behind your head and kick with your legs well your head is in the water, if you want to breathe you lift your head up well your head and face the side well one arm is in the water, well the other is straight in the water we did that 3 times. Next we did arm strokes we swam with our chest facing down well our arms will lift up in a circle 3 times, then we did back strokes the same thing but our back is facing in the water  (we did it 3 times).

LI To learn about persuasive tools in advertising

Advertising this week was about analysis. We first had to find celebrity endorsements adverts, The ads can not have the same products or same celebrity show promoting it. The goal was to find three celebrity endorsements.

The next task was analysis of an advert. We had questions on the slide, which we had to answer. And the last task was the same thing with the same questions but we picked our own advert. 

Jamie wall

today we had a special duffy role model at assembly, it was Jamie wall was here at assembly to inspire us to read. His job is a journalist and he goes around the world to write about rugby games. One of his accomplishments was writing a book called "brothers in black".

How he got the job is that he had read a book alot, it was about the all blacks and all of there games (at the time). The book said who was going against each other, the scores/results. He kept on reading that book until he knew everything about it.

Jamies job is to go around the world and write who is going against who  (for rugby) and the results/scores at the end of the game. He would not have to pay to travel or stay at a country as they were all paid by company such as radio nz,maori tv, and so on. Some of the country's (he visted 12 country's) he visited it was england,japan,france,austraila,ireland,itay,argentina and more

We made a flip gird, about what our article. My article was called "pointless,painful,physical education". We either had to agree with the article that was written or disagree, if we picked any of them we had to have proof to prove our point. I disagreed, if you want to know why watch the video.

LI : To deal with challenges

we need to practise dealing with challenges, to deal with challenges easily in the future. Our theme is resilience, and our topic was dealing with challenges. We did a bus stop activity we had to explain what the challenges are, we had a group discussion to decide what the person in a picture was feeling in that situation. There are many types of challenges such as physical challenges,mental challenges and emotion challenge.
