Imaginative Recount

LI- To write an imaginative recount

Today me and my duo made a reveal for a imaginative recount.The recount is about one of the characters from little red riding hood.We would make a plan in bullet points and make a title.We decided to choosed little red riding hood as it was easyer to describe her as we know more about her then the wolf.With that done we would write sentences and add adjectives,how,what,when,where to make it sound interesting.

Poetry

LI : To identify purposes for poems.

LI : To identify characteristics of poems.

What we learned

Poetry is a text for communicating ideas abd expressing feelings to people.Poetry can include sound patterns they are rhyme and rhythm.Rhyming is repeating sounds in words there are four kinds of rhyme : consonance,end rhyme,alliteration and assonance.
Consonance use constant sounds (t,v,p,x, and so on) they also don't use vowels.
End rhyme is a rhyme at the end of a sentence.
alliteration is constant sounds from the from the frist letter of a word like she sells, sea shells at the sea shore.
assonance uses vowels a,e,i,o,u constantly and dont use constant sounds (t,v,p,x,t and so on)
How we learnt it
We would have a highlighter  and have a peice of paper that had a list of peoms.We would highlight the : consonance,end rhyme,alliteration and assonance.If we found something that was like a assonance and so on,we would highlight the bottom of the peom with what was assonance and so on.

Today we used the site walking with an anzac.On monday we choosed an item from a box, this item is not real and has a story of a real person.The item is the second image, this would be given if a solider or lady served in WW1 we had to find the who,what,when,how.My trooper was alexander campbell robertson.We had to make a infographic about our person,up top is my infographic.

LI : To know when to say know and how to say it.
Today in kiwican we were learning about friendship.We learnt that there are times we say no! We talked about situations were it is ok to say no! We discussed diffenet way to say no that dont cause disrespect.We did a activity called,empathy role play.A group acted out a situations and as a class we needed to decide the way to say no! Our options were
-No thanks
-Its just not my thing
-Thats not a nice thing to do
-lets do something else instead

Cleaning data

LI: to learn something about the class or school using statistics.
Today me and the rest of grouped cleaned our data from this week, we ask Mr O groups were they like to stay the most in our school.There were zones which they can pick and we would enter there data.We Also room five the same question and how we did it in LS1 we would go up to them up to them and we show them the picture with the zones,and tell them were they like to rest to sit in the school for them.They would say the zone they like next we got all infomation and saw the responses who likes what.
