multiplying fractions

LI:find fractions of whole number amounts using multiplication and division.
Today we had to anamtion about fractions we had to say how to slove the question that we had.If we could not get a good question you could go and tell the teacher for a question.The task was kinda hard but it was easy at the same time beacuse it was done and 4 days beacuse I did mistakes.

Draft

LI : To plan a narrative
This week all of us had to make a draft for work that we will be doing later in the week a like narrative we had, to get in our group and plan it out like who will be the characters.Also the problem means what
happend like something bad and the resolution is how the person solved it.

What is media

LI : To learn what the media is.
Today me and karlos had to make a copy of this and we had to fine out with other people what the media is.We all wrote something and when we did we, had to share it to other people what we wrote.We watch two, videos also about olden day media and the morden day media was.Of slide 4 had to do very detailed infomation, because the last slide was not detailed.The task over all was easy and at, the end the we had write media we went,on in the last 24 hours.

Kiwi sport

Today we went to the panmure pools to learn new skills for swimming.We changed our clothes and jumped in the pool,We all had to do one skill frist before anything.We had to put one arm up on the right side then swap so the our arm can go on our left side.Well doing that we had to put our head up and breathe.The task was kinda hard and most of us did not do it well,then we were put into groups form bad to good.We had a person teach us things as well,we all had to go on the side of the pool and go in slow into the water.Then we learned some other skills before playing a game.The person garbed some toys and we had to get them and bring them back.When that was done we learned another way to get in the pool safe or any type of thing that has water like a water fall.Then we learned a few more skills till we put a clothes back on and went back to school.

Kiwi Can

Today we went to kiwi can.We had a new term so things are not the same,Our main foucas was GOALS and also resilience witch was our new theme.Also we said "hi" and started to play a mini game,The game was that we had to make a line and had to do what the teacher said like.make and oder of age.10 would be the highest and 8 will be the lowest.Then when that game was done we played a new game as well.It was called up and down.There were two groups and we had to get a hula hoop and thorw it to the cone and we had to get up to our goal or close.Our goal was 500 but we got up to 350 and the other 200.The game was not hard like both of them,When we were done with the game we started talking about goals and what ours are.

Duffy Theatre

On monday we all went to the hall to watch a play.This play was about bullying,and to stop bulling form happing.So first off everything was fine untill a girl was crying in a class and the teacher and a student was being mean to her so then a boy came along and help her a bit and gave her a book beacuse it helps him stay clam and that.The book was called the halloween bully.So the ghost was making jokes about, the skeleton and stealing there candy.Then the bully knew what they did was worng so she said sorry and stopped.At the end of the play we could ask questions before we go.We ask 6 and went back to LS1.

Visualising

LI: to visualise and question scenes in a book

When your reading a book and you dont really understand it,you can question the book so you can get a better understanding about the book.Like this,Why did the evls want to kill her? in amulet,Or another question sometimes you dont always get the answer.Also if you dont understand the book you can visualise a scene of a book like draw it what you think is going on in the book.Also the pictures

LI: To learn new things form each other.
Today was quiz day.For the whole term we have been learing about the human systems and used our skills to do task to get credits.We all used these credits to our power so we can win,We all learn things we may have not known or know how to explane it.We did not just learn about the human system we also learn about other system that are not like humans such as cats or fish.For the human system we learned about nutrtion,sensitivity and respiration.

Today I made a narrtive.This task was not hard and not easy as well.The task was also done by myself and was tock about 50 mins to make it.The story is about spongebob eascaping paris and is a street and a large window is near by.I will not say the whole story but there is the frist part.Also we had to get a good amount and then we had to show mr o,to check if was right

Matariki celebration

On wensday we had a matariki celebration.The whole school was there and was happy.The groups were the drum gourp,pacifica,kappa haka.The celebration was fun as lots of fun because at the end we had food!

ASB getwise

LI : To learn about moeny

Today group a went in to LS1 to learn about moeny.As soon as the asb getwise person came he said his name witch was jayden,Then we said hi and he started to say what a C A S H GOAL is.C means clear so we had to make a realistic goal such as shoes.Then we had to say what kind of shoes and how much they are.Then when that was done we started to talk about action like how we could get the moeny and how...Like selling things like games but not just old things likes food or cakes.Ather that we just about fineshed.We talked about save and how much we will have left when we buy it.Then we got three people and started talking about how much a car is.Like 1 person saved when there were year 5 and put there moeny in a bank.They would get the most.We lasty talked about the H witch is how long it will take.Then jayden stayed in the room but we did not we said bye as we went to LS2.

Matariki

Today is matariki.LS1 and LS2 worked togther to make this google draw.We found out infomation that we did not know before like the star names and other infomation.We used our smart searching skills to help search the infomation for the googling darwing.We all had to collabrate as a team to get this finshed.The task over all was not hard at all.And if you want to read about the google drawing here is the link.

M&M fractions

LI- To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.
Today me and lukah made a copy about fractions.We frist had to get all of the m&ms and then count them to fine the most colors then we had to make a fraction out of it like 10/54 beacuse thats how much we had.We then did other question and for the last bit we had to make a graph.
