Today we did inquriy.We had to make a video about,A slideshow.Its really not hard the task but it tock while to do the task.Here is the slide,The slide had to be about mrs gren.Not much people were in our gourp.The slide was the hardest part.

LI : To use figurative language to describe a person

Today we made a google darwing.This task had to be done by ourselfs and we had to use just normal things to descibe a person and then to make it interesting.We used Similes,Personification,Metaphor,Hyperbole and a Understatement to make it interesting and good.The task was a bit hard at frist.And we had to watch a slide show to know the figurative language.

Maori

On wensday,we played a game.It was called the string game.As you can see in the photo we could make things like the cup and saucer witch is in the image and other things.The string game was not hard and not easy and it could be done by ourselfs and it was fun.

Kiwi Can

LI : To learn something new well at kiwi can.
on wensday we went to kiwi can.We said hello and then made four lines.We talked about out topic a bit then we played a mini game.We had to garb a cone as fast as we can to win.I lost at frist then we did an other round.I won,We had a few more games then we talked about the topic accountability and what it means.Then we played a game People had to be not able to see stuff and there we balls everywere and they had to pick it up and put it in the houp.The game also had to have one person speaking to tell the person were to go.Our team came 1,3,4.Then we did our score and said bye as we went back to LS1.

Man and Sea

LI: to infer information from a text.

Today we read a book.It was called man and sea,We had to fine infomation and we had to inference it.We also used a story board to make a comic about what we think and with some proof.The task had to be done by ourselfs and it was a easy but tock a while.We also used a I think chart. To help us inference.

Cybersmart

LI: to interact online in a kind, positive, and helpful way. Today we did cybersmart.We were learning about netiquette,What does it mean? Well watch this video if you dont want to watch the video,netiquette means what to do online and what not to do but mainly the good ones.When we watch the video we had to do a task as the whole classroom.We had to get stuff of the video and put them a good or bad stuff.

Fractions

LI- To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.
Today we did fractions,We had to make a copy of two google drawings.We had to fine out the percentages, of the fractions and the decimal numbers, for the fraction.Like this 1/2 will be 50% because it is a half.We could to slove it by using our times, table and we had to use materials.Such as blocks/cubes sticks,pie shapes and so on.The cubes and the sticks, were easy to do and use,The task had to be done by ourselfs.Also the task was kinda easy and a bit hard,The decimals were one of the most eazyst for me to slove.Also if your were stuck on the task you can get help form the teacher to help slove it.For all of the materials were sticks and for the last part I used counters.To show two wholes.
