Today I made my own explanation.It was about stars, like the smallest star, how is a star born and how a star dies and what happens.I worte detailed info like how ogle-tr-122b is only 20% lagger then jupiter.When you read it hopfully you learnt something new.
I am in Year 6 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 1, and my teachers are Mr Wong and Mr Ogilive.

Kiwi Can
Today we did kiwi can.We frist made a circle and played a game called bang.If you dont know how it works,well let me tell you.There is a circle and a person in the middle if a person calls out a name like Jack that have to sit down well the two people on his right and left have to shoot each other.If the person does not sit down he is dead.I came 5th but I did die.The next round was 7th and then I died.
Then we talked about a topic witch is about rollmodles then we moved on to a new game.The teacher said orange witch means you have to go back or apple witch means you have to go forewd then there was banna witch means you have to stich form up to back.I was 5th,7th and 10th.Did we played gkq and we went back to class.

KiliKiti
Me and my group have made a dlo about kirikiti it,is a samoan sport.Also know as cricket there is other rules form it.There is facts about the sport like when was it made and how,what the bat is made of and what it is called.And the rules,we got the sport form a slide show so we did it.I have not tryed the sport out myself but it looks good and seems fun.I didn't make it on my own I did with the help of Jericho, Joshua,Alisha & me did it.

Maori
For maori we first sat down then we got a peice of paper with 4 circles we also saw words on the board that were feelings we had to darw the pictures of the feelings like happy sad mad and cold.When that was done we went back to the things we did last week witch was a slide about us,we had to edit some things that the teacher said.

On wensday we did kiwi can.We all went in side to see someone we have not seen before.She told us all a story then mr mat and miss lili were here.We talked about our topic before playing a mini game.There was a pen under a noodle and a person was had a bilnd fold on.They had to try and hit us beacuse we will steal there pen then when someone gor the pen they will be the person with the noodle.Then we talked about our topic even more before going back to LS1
The digestive system
Today we got 7 points we got 2 points of this peice of work.We had to make a word ring about the digestive system like I said before,so we had fine whats the most important and whats not important.The larger the ring the more it does not matter to the digestive system.Next to the word ring is a description about the words and very small meanings about it.

LI- To plan and Write an Explanation
Today I rote a explantion about the life cycle of a butterfly,we could make it simple or hard.I did hard there is also a fact in introduction.I may have not done right please let me know as well.We had also got in our group and there was a explation,and we had fix it up again.One had to do the hard one well the other part had to do the eazy one,Then ather a few mins mr o told us to stop and then he showed us the answers.We got it all right then we had to make the expation.

Kiwi Sport
On thursday we did kiwi sport,it was rippa rugby we frist got a panther and numberd our selfs I was one,and my panther was two then we played a mini game it was this,if a team got a ball they were the tagger team like in rugby you can thorw the ball but if you had the ball you could not move and if you then you could tag someone,so the people without the bibs had to tag well the people who had the bibs had to run so the people with no bids got two people.And the people with bibs got 7 people,when I was running I danced in the middle and as soon the ball was going to be at me I ran as fast as I can to the other side,then it was the last round,people with no bibs got 2 people and bibs had 3 people.Then we played another game we all had to make a line and then the person in the fornt had to thorw the ball all the way at the back and the person you gave the ball had to run at the back so we had to go to a place were a bib is and if we were there we had won,the frist turn we won and the 2 one as one.

LI : To have fun well playing soccer.
Today we did kiwi sport,we played soccer we learned new things like how to do a good kick then we played a game,it was like piggy in the middle,but someone had a bid and if you had to try and get the ball well you had to try and kick it to the other people.Then we played a game,there was a even number and if the leader says two,two people had to try sroce a goal.

Today we went to kiwi can,as we went in we said hello to mr mat and miss lilli and then we hoped in a mini game,the mini games was simple you go to right witch means bad or left if its good.now if Mr mat said a bad choice you will go on the bad choice spot and if you went to the good choice you had to say why you went there,We had 3 games of it and then we played a game it was called master tag if you dont know what it is then let me tell you (master tag makes everyone who is player a tagger and if get tagged you have to sit down and wait for the person who tagged you to get tagged and when that happens you can stand back up) we had 3 games of master tag I won the frist but the other two I lost most of the time I got tagged by Mr mat.When the game was done mr mat told us what our topic was it was ingeterty no one knew what it ment even me and making the right choices,Then when he told us what they ment we played a mini game,it was called "master of the week" we were the master or someone elas was and if we got a question worng we will sit down well the person you got the right question can be a master if you said something at the same time it will be tie and if someone got the question worng it will keep on going or if no one said something.I did not become master but jerome did,when that game was done we went back to LS1

What is an explanation?
Today I made this,it an explanation for the must do task list,it tells how to put a blog link on and what you need to make a blog post.I also learned new things on how to make an explanation and how to make an explanation.Also if you want to know what an explanation is it is telling someone something like what a plant is.Or how a plant stays alive.
Purpose and text types
LI: to assess Author’s Purpose and determine the reliability of information given in the text.
Today I made a slide,we frist did a quiz boys vs girls boys won and well doing it mr wong tells us about what makes a narrtives and what makes them fun.So when he did that he told us we need to go on 4 diffrant websites and say what text type,purpose,tagert audience and the source,the scource tells the person if it is good or not,the tagert audience means were does the website want people to read like kids or parents.The purpose means what does it mean.text type is like a info report or narrtive.

LI : To learn and slove time tables questions,and fine fast ways to slove them
Today I played a maths game it was called the multiplier it a game when you fine ways to slove time table quetions I also had to do the questions,I used the game so two of the boxes were 10 times and the question now was easier because i know my ten times and 10 x 2 = 20 and 10 x 3 = 30.in the prb i used the tens so when 30 and 20 were left i add them up and did the rest.i split the numbers so it will be tens.i did it so it can be fast and i know may tens to 11s.i think the easiest way is to solve it faster is to do tens just two tens and do the rest.i can show it in a diagame like this 35 x 5 split it so it is two tens so you get 25x5than 10 x 3 = 30 and 10 x 2 = 20 and do the rest of the numbers like this 5 x 5 = 25 and so 20 is left so make it so it is 10 x 10 and you get 100 and that's how you solved it.
