LI To define the word honesty
This week for kiwi can we had new theme also known as integrity and a new topic which is honesty we made four lines and did our new catch phrase.Talk to me truthfully,that's called honesty! We all played a game of trust its called three sports.So there is boxing,karate and basketball we pick one and if the teacher says the one we pick we were of that out for that round.We then explained what honesty is and how we can show it.Next and the last thing we did was get in groups and did some role play.We got a task that we then had to role play and be honest about.Our group task was role playing that someone broke a window.We watch other groups do there play as well.Our play was that someone had a rock and then throws it at the window.The other three groups task were Lost wallet,More change and cheating.

Maori

LI : To learn about Maori history.
This week on Wednesday we learnt talked about Maori mythology and how MT maungainui got to were it was.The legend has it that the mountain had its heart broken and had some patupaiarehe use magic to drag it to the ocean.Our teach told us that the mountain made a path.When the mountain regretted its choice it put its knees in the water trying to stop moving making a dock then the sun came up and the patupaiarehe ran away back to a forest and the mountain was trapped.Our teacher then told us to make a doc and write somethings in Maori and English as we will keep on working on this.

Next week were going to do a play so this week we going to write down our lines and under study our panther that means we have to know there lines because they might not come to the play.The play that im doing is called super Sunday.And the character im going to be is a radio.

Expanding Horizons

LI: to learn part addition and place value addition.

We made a chart that had problems we solved on expanding horizons,that has questions that we had to use place value adding and adding in parts.Place value adding is like adding but we get the highest number and add it together with and equal number then we go down and add and so on.Next is adding in parts which is like place value so lets say we have 54 and 27 we take,away 6 from 27 and add 6 to 54 now its 60 then we add 20 now its 80 then we add 1 so its 81.We did this task in groups as we thought it would be faster to do the task.

Two steves

LI : To learn how to research more and to learn about the first apple computer and the two steves

LS1 had made an ad about the first apple computer before this we had to find out the definition for some words we had to guess what we think the words could mean.The next task that we did next was to find out what the newest apple product I talked about what the mac book 2018 had and what the first apple computer we researching about.Next I made an ad about the first apple computer, the goal was to make someone who knew nothing about computers to buy that computer well having information about the product.We got the information by researching also using the reading skills we learnt.
