LI: To identify the main ideas in a text
For reading we are writing our opinion for the Ihumatao protest and which side we are on for the protest. I pick the protesters side as the land is important to them because of the history, and the generations that have been there. I hope the protest goes to the protesters side insted of the fletchers building company.

LI : To separate fact from Opinion
We continued from last weeks work on the slide for Ihumatao. This week my group did 4 slides and each member in our group had to do a slide. This weeks work was about the timeline about Ihumatao the history of it and the protest. The first event relevant to Ihumatao happened in the 1860s from there it has gone up to 2019. Some of my group went on a website for the timeline and the others went on videos.

Ihumatao is a place where maori and iwi are protesting so flecthers (building company) does not build of the ancient land. We are filling in a slide show that will take a couple weeks thats about this event (this event has been going on for a few years. There are also videos of the event. We also did research on how far Ihumatao is from our school to Ihumatao.
