Food is need for people to live but there are problems with how the food is produced because some countries are not able to make food or keep up with the production of food.

Countries around the world usually overproduce food. One third of food we produce is wasted, 1.3 billion tonnes of food that are fresh and still good, are sent to landfills to rot. The goal of foodprint to reduce food waste around the world. For example 20 million loaves of bread in new zealand is wasted in a single year. Food print is to make it easier for people to buy food and not let it go to waste, it is only available in auckland right now but there are 250 cafes/shops. This app took 2 years worth of planning and it was launched 6 months ago.
