Idioms

LI: to learn a whole bunch of idioms.
Today we learnt new idioms.Before this we got into a group of three and had to get our chromebooks.Our task was to find as much idioms as possible on books or websites.One person in our group was doing books and well I and someone else we doing websites.In total we got 19 points.One of the main websites that we used to get our answers is thought.co It help us out.We had to get lists and find any idioms in the list.If we did we got 2 points.On thursday we had to check how much points and show it to the teacher to see who won.We were 5th by 19 points and 1st was 55 points.

Twas the night before christmas

LI: To understand stanza

Today we learnted rhyming.This type of rhyming is called stanza.It is like end rhyme.So the rhyme is at the end.One of the frist things we did before this is when we watch videos about twas the night we needed because we know what we are going to write about.Next we had to make a google doc this is when we had to copy the frist part of the video.As soon as that was done we had to check it with someone else.I had to add a thew more things then I was done I add full stops and tryed to make it rhyme some more.

Kiwi Can

LI : To talk about what we did this term.
Today we went to kiwi can.We frist made four lines and said hi to kiwi can.We talked about what we learnt this term.We talk about the theme and topic for this term.The theme was respect and the topic was respect the school.Respect the respect the community and respect the environment.We did the catch phases so we knew what the topic was.The teachers did it frist then it was our time to do it next.We made a circle and told what we liked about kiwi can this year.Then we said the games we wanted to play.We choosed 10 secound tag,octopus,hand ball,rugby.

Maori

LI : To learn new words in maori.
Today we did moari.One of the frist things we did was hear christmas songs.We had to geuss the tune of the song.We got 3/4 but then we had to look on our inbox.The teacher had sent us a document.On the left were words in maori.They were places in new zealand.In the middle was the names in english.We had copy and paste the words into google maps.And write if they were in the south island or the north island.Instend of writing it in english we had to write in in maori.Te ika maui which was the north lsland and Te waka maui which is the north island.When we did all of it we had to check with the teacher if they were right or worng.I got a threw worng.

SSR selfie

Today we did SSR.We had to fine a book and write infomation about the book.We had to write infomation about the book we did.The task was fun and easy.

basic facts

Today I did my basic facts.I had to write the answers when I got it right it would say good.Sometimes I got it wrong.So I had to retry.I had to picked the easy one so it is faster.The task was fun and good to understand more.This task also had questions like up to five and ten and more.This task had to be done by one person so I tryed to do it fast.
